Privacy policy

In Shop workspaces, your name and invited email are visible to teammates. Project content saved in a shared workspace is accessible to its members and owner. Invitation tokens expire after seven days and are invalidated when accepted or revoked. Personal workspace projects remain private. We record which signed-in session is active for estimating to enforce one active device per person. We do not use a hardware fingerprint for this restriction.

SlabTally is operated by PForce LLC. Contact [email protected] with privacy questions or requests.

Information we use

We store your name, email, hashed password, account sessions, projects, materials, dimensions, estimate results and published reports. Billing records include your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, trial dates, subscription status and terms acceptance. We use this information to provide the service, secure accounts, process billing and respond to support requests.

Service providers

Cloudflare hosts the application and database. Resend delivers account verification and password recovery messages. Stripe processes payment information and subscriptions under its own privacy policy. Full card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored in the SlabTally project database. Support correspondence is received through Gmail; domain email forwarding uses Cloudflare.

Device storage and security

Essential session cookies keep you signed in. Browser storage retains estimator recovery data on your device. Security controls use request information to limit abuse. Use a trusted device and sign out on shared devices. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Free-try reports

When you ask for the PDF report in the free try, we use your name, company and email to send it, and keep them with the project’s size and slab count so we can follow up once about SlabTally. Reply “no thanks” to any of our emails and we won’t contact you again. To have these details deleted, email [email protected].

Site visit counts

Our public pages count visits anonymously: which pages and links are opened, how far the demo is clicked through, and the campaign tag on the link you followed. With each count we keep the approximate place (city, region, country and timezone) and network name that our hosting provider derives from the connection, and your browser type, operating system, screen size and language. A random identifier is kept in your browser’s storage and no IP address is recorded. If you sign in to SlabTally, that identifier is linked to your account, so we can see how customers use the site; otherwise no cookie, name or email is recorded with these counts. They are deleted after about a year. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, nothing is counted.

Sharing

Published report links can be opened by anyone who has the link. Do not include confidential information in public reports. We provide information to service providers as needed to operate the application, and may disclose records when required by applicable law or valid legal process.

Retention and your choices

Saved projects remain available for viewing and export when your trial or subscription ends. Archiving does not delete data. To request account or data deletion, contact [email protected] from your registered email. We verify ownership before acting. Records needed for legal, tax, fraud prevention or dispute purposes may be retained. Backup copies may persist until normal backup expiration. You can export project backups from the application.
